While we are flattered with this honor, it is important to note these awards are not based on statements of any specific client experience or survey of any group of clients. These awards are also not a representation of Total Wealth Planning’s past or future investment performance capabilities. Total Wealth Planning also does not solicit any third party for such awards or recognition, nor pay any type of fee to participate in the surveys beyond minor fees for plaques or article reprints after the award has been granted.

Dave Wilder Recognized as Nation's Top 50 Most Experienced Advisors
Bloomberg Business Week teamed up with the Paladin Registry to screen more than 1,000 independent financial advisers. The advisors were scored on a 100-point system. Advisors receive the maximum number of points for 15 years of experience as well as for holding two major certifications, such as Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner. To be included in the registry, advisors need to be independent and fees must be the primary form of compensation. Our Chief Investment Officer, Dave Wilder, was part of the top 50 advisors. Dave did not pay to be considered for this award.
Dave Wilder Is Honored by Paladin Registry with a 5-Star Ranking
The Paladin Registry is a referral service that vets, rates and documents financial advisors using a proprietary algorithm using the quality of an advisors credentials, ethics, business practices, and services. Only financial advisors who meet the criteria of a 5-Star quality rating are permitted to remain on the registry. Paladin’s 5-Star quality rating is not an endorsement or testimonial. Dave pays a fixed monthly fee to be included on the list, but does not pay for prospective leads or referrals. Click here

Each year, the Cincinnati Business Courier receives 100’s of nominations to recognize young professionals in the Tri-State who have reached major milestones in their careers and also made significant contributions to the community. A panel of previous 40 under 40 award recipients select 40 of the 350+ nominees based on a set of established criteria.

Rob Siegmann Takes 1st Place in the 2015 Business Courier's Annual Stock Picking Contest
For pure entertainment, the Cincinnati Business Courier hosts an annual stock picking contest. The rules are pretty simple. You must pick up to five stocks, at least one of which must be locally headquartered in Cincinnati area. Dayton doesn’t count, nor do companies like GE that have a large local presence but are based elsewhere. Each position must be in increments of 20% of the portfolio. The goal is to generate the highest total return, including dividends, between Jan. 1, 2016, and Dec. 31, 2016. The entire Courier article can be viewed here

David Wilder was recognized as a Top Advisor in 2008 by Reuters based on qualitative criteria including total assets under management, growth of assets under management, product expertise and client focus. Dave did not pay to be considered for this award.
